2008 Intown Cup Rules and Regulations
Purpose
The 2008 Intown Cup is a competition between North Atlanta High School, South Atlanta High School and Southside High School. The purpose of the Cup is to promote the competitive atmosphere between Atlanta Public Schools and to showcase the sport's growth within the city .
Competition Rules
Each team will play the other two teams in regular season matches. A team receives 3 points for a win, one for a tie and 0 points for a loss. The winner of the competition will be the team that earned the most points in the two matches versus the other two teams. Only regular season matches count in the competition; pre-season Jamborees and/or post-season matches will not be included in the Cup competition.
The tie-breaker method should any teams end up level on points after the two matches would be as follows:
1)Head-to-Head Competition between the tied teams
2)Goal differential
3)Goals Allowed versus two teams
4)Goals Scored versus two teams
Award
The winner of the Intown Cup will receive a permanent Cup-style trophy that will rotate each season to the winner of the competition. The trophy will have spaces available for name plates that will be engraved for each year's winner.

1) In future years, this competition will be open to other Atlanta Public High Schools should they express an interest and commitment to participating in the Intown Cup.
